White Water Rafting
Replenished annually by spring snowmelt, the rivers of the Vail Valley become a rafter's wonderland May through October. Rivers are relatively gentle, beginning with Class II rapids, and running up to Class V rapids. Trip locations will be based on river flows and class requested. The Upper Colorado is a leisurely float trip through Class I/II, suitable for the entire family. Class II/III Shoshone section of the Colorado River is a lively trip through beautiful Glenwood Canyon.

Timing: 9:15 A Departure - 2:00 P Estimated Return
Minimum: 1 private boat (8 guests)
Maximum: 18 boats (150 guests)
NOTES:
8 guest minimum is required for a private trip
Minimum age is 6 years old; weight and other restrictions may apply
Bottled water, a light jacket, and sunscreen are recommended
Final availability for raft trips subject to change based on water levels and snowmelt runoff. If a trip must be cancelled due to river conditions, guest will be fully refunded.
Activity Departure
Your activity will depart from the resort's Group Transportation Circle (not the front drive).
You can access the Group Transportation Circle by walking from the front desk towards Sakaba restaurant. Turn right at the restaurant, and then left before the rental shop.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Guests may cancel purchased activities for a full refund if submitted in writing by 5:00 PM MST on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Cancellations received after this date will be non-refundable.
Weather Policy
All activities will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, including lightning, adjustments or cancellations will be made at the discretion of the program team on the day of the activity.
